About Thomas Soler & the album.
Thomas Soler plays a 1 0 Grand Chapman Stick. The inventor of this instrument was luthier Emmett Chapman in 1969. It combines four instruments in one: the bass, guitar, piano logic, and tactile percussion, which is played by percussing with the fingers of both hands. +info at stick.com
Soler started playing the Stick in 2015 with Guillermo Cides as his instructor. He gradually developed his own musical personality, which enabled him to compose his own works. For this album, Soler selected his most representative works to record with Cides who produced the sound and worked together with Soler to arrange the songs at his studio in Spain. An album that is both eclectic and special, but also intimate, with excellent sound and a genuine sensitivity in its compositions is the result.
